Is every CAT teacher ready to teach the technical work?

Readiness for each CAT skill across your schools, built from each teacher’s own confidence rating and a short practical check. Find the gaps, see who needs support, and plan training where it matters.

Skills ordered from least to most ready. These are the training priorities.

Opt-out requests

Taking part is expected; teachers can ask to be excused, and you decide.

How readiness is worked out

For each skill a teacher rates their confidence from 1 to 4, then answers a short practical check.

  • The level starts at the confidence rating: Not yet Developing Ready Can lead
  • A wrong check answer caps the skill at Developing, and is flagged ! when the teacher felt confident.
  • A right answer with low confidence is flagged too: that teacher may need encouragement more than training.
  • Teachers who opted out (approved) are left out of every figure.
